15 years ago, I had the same goal. I wanted to go to Thailand and discovered that the best way to travel and get paid (Wow!) is to teach. Not only will the overseas school usually pay for your travel, they'll pay a salary, benefits, sometimes a housing allowance; often even language lessons, Internet access and more.
